| The Seattle Post was chartered in 1920 - the same year the National Society of American Military Engineers was organized.
For the past 15 years, we have been awarded the Society's "Distinguished Post" award.
Membership includes all branches of the military (particularly representatives from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Navy's Engineering Field Activity Northwest, the Coast Guard's Facilities Design & Construction Center, N.O.A.A., and Public Health Service, as well as other federal, state, and local agencies that provide and utilize engineering, planning, architecture and construction services).
Our membership also includes the majority of the Northwest's major civilian engineer, planning, architectural, and construction firms that provide professional services to federal, state, and local agencies.
