The Seattle Postwas chartered in 1920 - the same year the National Society of American Military Engineers was organized.
We have been awarded the Society's "Distinguished Post" award over 18 years, and achieved this award again in 2013-2014.
Membership includes all branches of the military (particularly representatives from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Navy's Engineering Field Activity Northwest, the Coast Guard's Facilities Design & Construction Center, N.O.A.A., and Public Health Service, as well as other federal, state, and local agencies that provide and utilize engineering, planning, architecture and construction services).
Our membership also includes the majority of the Northwest's major civilian engineer, planning, architectural, and construction firms that provide professional services to federal, state, and local agencies. Please browse our website and discover why SAME is a premiere society for today's engineer.

 If you don’t have military ID, or other DoD Smart Card, you must fill out the SECNAV 5512 Form manually in pen and bring it with you and present it to Pass & ID with valid ID like a drivers license. Form is posted below. No exceptions.
 Bring either a valid passport or orignal, state issued, certified birth certificate with a valid photo ID.
 Bring the filled out SECNAV 5512 Form (below).
You must do the above even if you have a DoD Smart Card like Rapidgate or CAC.
